Answered Yamaha av receiver, does not remember the volume and mute settings.

I have a yamaha rx v1073 av receiver (very happy with it).

When i switch it off, i turn the volume down (using the remote control) and mute it.

However, whenever i switch it on, the receiver is no longer muted and the volume is back to the level it was at when purchased (second-hand).

Is there a way to get the receiver to remember the last settings for volume and mute.
